Danielle Cusson

Animal Care Attendant

Growing up, Danielle’s family always included a furry friend. Her love for animals started at an early age. When she was 12, she volunteered at a local pet store and she always knew she wanted to pursue a career involving animals.

Before joining the team at NOAH, Danielle lived in Halifax for 5 years where she graduated from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology. She has worked with sea turtles, sharks and whales, but on land she is very much a cat lady at heart. Helping and caring for every patient that comes to the hospital is what makes working in veterinary medicine so gratifying.

In 2020, Danielle adopted two cats of her own. A grey long-haired named Ducky and a black short haired named Bean. When she is not at the clinic, you can find her spending time with her cats, family and friends or exploring the outdoors. She loves to scuba dive and travel when she can!
