No-Show and Cancellation Policy

Dear Pet Parents,

North Oakville Animal Hospital is committed to providing all of our patients with exceptional care. Due to the high demand for appointments, when a client cancels without giving advance notice, they prevent another patient from being seen. For this reason, we now have a No-Show Policy for all surgical and medical appointments scheduled with our veterinarians.

Our goal is to provide timely care to all our patients and to respect the veterinarian’s time and the constraints of a tightly booked schedule. If you must cancel your appointment, we request a call or email at least 24 hours before your pet’s appointment. If less than 24 hours notice is given, or if there is no notice at all, this will be considered a “no-show.” After 2 no-shows, a $100.00 non-refundable deposit will be required in order to book future appointments.

We understand that unforeseen circumstances and emergencies arise. A simple phone call 24 hours or more before your scheduled appointment is all that is required. This will allow us to offer that spot to a pet in need.
