Janet Onysko

I’m from Lambeth/London, Ontario, where I grew up surrounded by Golden Retrievers, cats, and a couple of gerbils. I’ve always had a deep love for animals, often bringing home any that seemed in need of care, and sometimes even those that didn’t. I’m married with a daughter who is a Registered Veterinary Technician. In 2007, my family and I moved to Mississauga, where we now live with our three cats, and I couldn’t imagine our home without a fur-baby.

Since 2003, I’ve been managing postal outlets but felt it was time for a change. In August of 2021, I joined the North Oakville Animal Hospital family, a decision I’ve never regretted.

I enjoy being outdoors, even on snowy and cold days, and my favorite thing is spending time with my family and laughing together.
