North Oakville Animal Hospital is committed to providing all of our patients with exceptional care. Due to the high demand for appointments, missed or late appointments can prevent other pets from receiving the care they need. To help us serve all patients efficiently, we ask that clients review and respect the following policies.
Appointment Cancellations
If you must cancel your appointment, we request a call or email at least 24 hours before your pet’s appointment. If less than 24 hours notice is given, or if there is no notice at all, this will be considered a “no-show.”
No-Show Policy
A “no-show” occurs when a client misses a scheduled appointment without providing notice. If a client accumulates two no-shows, a $100 non-refundable deposit will be required to book future appointments.
Late Arrivals
We understand that unexpected delays can happen. However, arriving late can affect the schedule for other patients and our veterinary team.

Clients who arrive 10 minutes or more late may need to be rescheduled, depending on the doctor’s schedule.

A $20 late fee will be applied to appointments where clients arrive 10 minutes or more after the scheduled appointment time.
Our Commitment to You
Our goal is to provide timely, high-quality care to every patient while respecting the time of our clients and veterinary team. Providing advance notice if you need to cancel or if you are running late helps us accommodate pets who may need urgent care.
